Inspired by the thousands of cebicherías found throughout Peru, La Mar cebichería peruana was created to globalize and preserve one of the best guarded treasures of Peruvian cuisine: cebiche. La Mar delivers authentic Peruvian seafood in a setting curated to enjoy it, the Peruvian style cebicheria.

Meson Del Chef
Our semi-private Chef’s table is located in the North corner of the restaurant, seating up to twenty-two people maximum. Guests enjoy beautiful views of the San Francisco Bay while dining along our waterfront windows. Try our Chef’s tasting menu for a custom, colorful dining experience

Cebiche Lounge
Our colorful lounge located to the left of the main entry way offers an intimate cocktail setting while overlooking the liveliness of the dining room and the cebiche bar. This are can be reserved exclusively for a cocktail party of up to 50 guests or a non-exclusive section for smaller groups of fifteen and above.

The Patio
Our patio is located on the waterfront with breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay and Treasure Island. Enjoy a sunset cocktail party for up to 150 guests, a formal seated dinner of up to 90 guests or a combination of the two for 65 guests.
The Patio can be customized to meet your requests, set with a satellite bar, high top tables and lounge furniture. Weather permitting, the Patio can be fully enclosed and our built-in heat lamps make for a comfortable atmosphere year-round.

La Mar Bar
La Mar Bar: Large windows that overlook the Embarcadero and Downtown SF, the Lobby Bar is perfect for casual cocktail hours for small groups of 20 or 30, or rent out the whole space entirely for a group of 95.

Full Venue
A clean minimalist décor preserves the beauty of this classic building with an added Peruvian flare. Enter the historic Pier 1 ½ lobby to find multiple lounges, an expansive dining room and a waterfront patio overlooking Treasure Island. The entire venue can be reserved exclusively for a cocktail style event for up to 490 guests, a formal seated dinner for up to 230 guests or a combination of the two.

Fully Private City Room!
Once the old ticket office to the Piers, the historic City Room sits along the Embarcadero on the left-hand side of the entrance to La Mar, offering casual cocktail receptions to a formal seated dinner. With oversized windows overlooking SF’s Financial District, the fully private space also carries its own optional entryway, exit, powder room, and coat check. We offer your choice of long rectangles or round table seating formats, to best adapt to the environment you are looking to provide for your event. Full A/V capabilities are also available upon request.
