SFPDV.com, San Francisco Private Dining Venues provides a complimentary referral network for its clients and event planners to ensure that they locate the best possible venue to accommodate their private dining needs.
Representing many of the premiere restaurants & venues in San Francisco, we can accommodate events for 10 to 1200 guests.
Each of the listed properties is directly accessible through SFPDV.com - either individually or as a group - creating an easy process of research and information gathering on the way to finding the perfect venue!
History of the SFPDV
It all started in the mid 90’s in San Francisco, California. A group of good friends who worked in the restaurant industry as private dining managers. They would frequently go to the top restaurants at that time, Stars, Aqua, Flying Saucer, Rubicon, Lulu, Slow Club, Postrio and Rose Pistola to list a few.
These friends would get together for cocktails once a month to discuss their current state of their lives-relationships, family, travel destinations and of course their jobs. After a few evenings, they begin referring each other’s restaurants to clients if their spaces were booked. They were onto something, all of their private dining department’s revenue grew overnight!
SFPDV grew from a grassroots friendship group of four to a nonprofit organization on February 3, 2006 to forty of the best restaurants in San Francisco. With our user friendly website, to our annual fundraising events with our main partner, Compass Family Services, which provides a wide variety of human services to homeless families, we have become one of the top restaurant web resource in the Bay Area.
