China Live is an interactive culinary and cultural destination in the heart of San Francisco’s Chinatown, offering an in-depth exploration of Greater Chinese gastronomy. Our mission is to demystify Chinese ingredients and recipes while educating guests on the rich history and influence. Spanning three floors and 30,000 square feet, China Live is comprised of an upscale Marketplace Restaurant and Retail shop, a speakeasy Scotch bar (Cold Drinks Bar), a formal fine dining restaurant featuring a nightly changing chef's tasting menu (Eight Tables by George Chen) and multiple private event spaces.
